Special Schedules and Holidays

Here is a list of most of the changes to our schedule, as well as a list of all days we have off school.

Please note some of these dates and times are subject to change.  Remember to check your email and your child’s folder for up-to-date information.

 

September

4th – NO SCHOOL! (Labor Day)

21st and 22nd NO SCHOOL! (Local holidays)

26th – All students come to school 8:30-1:00pm (early dismissal conference schedule)

 

October

18th – NO SCHOOL! (Staff Development Day)

19th – Great California Shakeout earthquake drill

25th – District Science Fair

31st – Halloween: ALL students come to school 8:30am-1:00pm (Halloween Parade at 8:45)

 

November

10th – NO SCHOOL (Veterans’ Day)

13th – ALL students come to school 8:30-1:00pm (early dismissal for Parent Conferences)

14th - ALL students come to school 8:30-1:00pm (early dismissal for Parent Conferences)

16th - ALL students come to school 8:30-1:00pm (early dismissal for Parent Conferences)

17th - ALL students come to school 8:30-1:00pm (early dismissal for Parent Conferences)

23rd-24th – NO SCHOOL (Thanksgiving Break)

 

December

22nd-Jan. 7th – NO SCHOOL (Winter Break)

 

January

1st-7th – NO SCHOOL (Winter Break)

15th – NO SCHOOL (Martin Luther King Day)

25th – THE 100th Day of School!

30th – ALL students come to school 8:30-1:00pm (early dismissal day)

 

February

12th – NO SCHOOL (Presidents’ Day)

19th – NO SCHOOL (Presidents’ Day, part 2)

26th – NO SCHOOL for K-5 (Pupil Free Day)

 

March

6th – ALL students come to school 8:30-1:00pm (early dismissal day)

17th-25th – NO SCHOOL (Spring Break)

 

April

2nd – NO SCHOOL! (Staff Development Day)

 

May

10th – ALL students come to school 8:30-1:00pm (early dismissal for Open House)

11th – ALL students come to school 8:30-1:00pm (early dismissal for incoming Kindergarten Preview)

28th – NO SCHOOL! (Memorial Day)

31st – ALL students come to school 8:30-1:00pm (LAST DAY OF SCHOOL and 8th grade graduation!)
