Donate to BHEF's Why Not the Best, Why Not the BHUSD? Campaign is to raise the funds needed to support critical staffing and programs at all BHUSD schools. BHEF plans to raise $1 million to solely fund the personnel and programs identified by the BHUSD as having the potential of being cut. These funds will be matched by the City of Beverly Hills up to $600,000. This is in addition to the $700,000 in funding already committed by BHEF to the District for 2012-2013. We have partnered with ChoiceLunch to provide meals at all K-8 school sites. Parents purchasing meals may select their child’s option a day at a time or a month in advance from 17 selections from their website. The meals selected will be available in the cafeteria for student pickup. 	ChoiceLunch Available During K-8 Summer Session at El Rodeo Beverly Hills Education Foundation’s K-8 Summer Academy and the BHUSD‘s K-8 Summer Program has partnered with ChoiceLunch to provide meals for purchase for your child’s school lunch during the El Rodeo Summer Academy session.
	A Special Report to the Beverly Hills Community from the Finance Committee of BHUSD Over the past several months our community has been inundated with statements urging that the Beverly Hills Unified School District comply with the 2008 Measure E campaign promise of no increase in the $49.71 property tax rate, and denouncing the use of Capital Appreciation Bonds (CABs) to fund the upgrading of substandard school buildings. In keeping with the mission of our committee which is, in part, to educate the public regarding the financial position and outlook of the school district, we are taking this opportunity to respond to those statements.
	BHHS Site Cleared of Active Earthquake Faulting The California Geological Survey (CGS) recently wrote a letter to BHUSD officials supporting the fact that there are no active earthquake faults at or adjacent to Beverly Hills High School.
