Service Learning

Through service-learning, students learn to reflect on their experiences and develop critical-thinking skills. Service activities are embedded within academic classes and are meant to help participants achieve specific learning goals.

It also helps students develop civic and social responsibility skills and become more aware of what their community needs.

Service-learning activities are ongoing, beginning in August through the end of the year.  We reach out to our community, local charities/organizations, and food banks.  We have worked with our senior citizens at Beverly Hills Sunrise Senior Living Community. We have supported our veterans as well as active military abroad.  Each year, our students make over 500 lunches to feed the homeless in the Los Angeles area. Our goal is to continue to provide meaningful teaching opportunities for our students.
