Welcome to first grade. First grade is one of the most exciting grades for students to be in and for me, it's my favorite grade to teach. This is the grade where kids become students and the roots to their educational career are established. Their brains are still developing and they're like sponges; they absorb everything! Better yet, they're excited to come to school and learn.
My goal for the school year is to inspire my students to enjoy the learning process and encourage them become the best they can be. I hope to help my students thrive academically and socially through establishing a positive self image. I believe kids of any age can make a difference in our ever-changing world and the beginnings of a successful education is the first step for children to learn how to become responsible citizens who make valuable contributions to society.
