Welcome to the Horace Mann School web site! We hope that our web site provides you with an abundance of information about our wonderful school and the many people and programs that make Horace Mann School truly a special place. Throughout the 80 year history of Horace Mann, academic excellence with high achievement levels has consistently placed us among the top schools in California. Moreover, our students understand that their success is measured through their character and positive leadership as much as it is by their grades and test scores.

A common thread throughout our storied past is the strong teaching staff and support personnel. Our teachers are dedicated, highly skilled and knowledgeable who work collaboratively to insure that we meet the needs of all of our students. All of the support personnel care deeply for the health and welfare of our students. Together they are a team of caring individuals who everyday strive for our children to be good students and citizens.

The parental and community support has also been a constant throughout the years. The tight knit bond that exists takes many supportive forms which include our fantastic Horace Mann PTA and Horace Mann School Site Council. Both are essential components of our school. It is that support which enables Horace Mann School to provide such a positive educational experience that allows each student to reach their full potential.

Together, it is all of us that make Horace Mann School the rich, diverse and inspiring place to be. It has always been a complete pleasure being part of the Horace Mann Family and I look forward to a fabulous school year filled with great memories.
