In our continued efforts to listen and ensure we are creating the best possible learning environments, we have reflected on feedback given throughout the fall semester to and from District Administration, School Administration, Teachers, Staff, Students, Parents, and Community Members.
We are streamlining Horace Mann's lunchtimes schedule, which will not impact the days' start or end times but will allow us to deliver cross grade level collaboration for both students and teachers. Additionally, this will be in line with Hawthorne's schedule.
Kinder and 1st 11:25-12:05
2nd and 3rd 11:50-12:30
4th and 5th 12:25-1:05
We are going to be getting 10 new folding tables that will mainly go outside. Some will move inside to accommodate everyone. We are also hiring more Playground aides.
We are thrilled to implement this change and we appreciate your support in reassuring our little ones who will be making new friends and seeing new faces at lunchtime.
