The dates for all School Site Meetings this school year are listed on line under the School Site Council Link. All meetings are held on Mondays at 3:30pm. If you are unable to attend the meeting but have questions, please email me, Juliet Fine, at [email protected]. We do have two School Site Council positions available this school year. If you are interested in being part of this committee, please submit an application. All applications are due this Thursday, September 28th at 10:00am. An application form is attached. Please email or print it out and drop it off with Mrs. Gibson or Mrs. Espinoza at the front desk.
Purpose of the School Site Council: School Site Councils for Title 1 schools give all stakeholder groups (administrators, parents, students, and staff) a real voice in school-based decision-making and allocation of Title I funding. School site councils are comprised of peer-elected representatives, teachers and administrators whose main responsibility is to collaborate with the principal on specific matters that affect student achievement, school improvement and Title I funding. In Beverly Hills Unified School District, SSCs also act as an advisory committee on the Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP).
