Here in the Beverly Hills Unified School District, we pride ourselves on using the latest advances in technology as part of our every day learning in the classroom.

From Kindergarten to High School, our students are using programs like Seesaw, Nearpod, zSpace, Booksnaps, Chatterpix, and Flipgrid to bring lessons to life. We’re reimagining how our instructors are teaching, and taking our students to places they couldn’t have reached without technology.

But the most important lesson doesn’t come in an app.  It’s digital citizenship: kids and families need to know how to think critically, behave safely, and participate responsibly in a digital world.

Join us for the first event in our BHUSD “Plugged-In” Parent Education Series, and learn about the district’s commitment to empower families to be safe and responsible digital citizens in school, at home and beyond.  Common Sense Media will educate parents on how they can immediately support their children with resources that inspire positive digital behavior and choices. Come learn about the latest developments in the digital landscape and participate in a robust Q&A.

Space is limited, so please RSVP using the link included here. Complimentary refreshments and childcare will be provided.  We hope to see you Wednesday, November 29th, from 6:30 to 8: 30 pm in the Beverly Vista auditorium.
