I am the School Counselor at Horace Mann. I work with students individually to help guide and support them with emotional, social, and behavioral needs. I also guide the students with SEL lessons (Social Emotional Learning) with each class in order to help the students learn to be better friends, discussing the Husky High 5, and general character education themes of respect and integrity. I attend Student Success Team meetings and am an integral part of helping to implement strategies to help the students. I also meet with teachers, administrators and parents to consult regarding individual concerns of the students.
