What projects have we completed ELD class?
During the 2021-2022 academic year, I challenged my students with a pretty hefty end of the year assignment. We wrote a Choose Your Own Adventure Book. This incorporated the knowledge of literary genres, use of technology and communication skills. We also learned how to use familiar apps in a new way and for a new purpose. The students had to work as a group to choose a fictional genre, write to that genre, create alternate endings, as well as add various media. We even incorporated green screen special effects! This was a huge challenge because NONE of us knew how to use a green screen. My students are so amazing, we learned together and I think they did a great job. I am looking forward to building on that knowledge for the upcoming school year!
